Radioactive Waste Management Glossary

The purpose of this glossary is to provide a source of words which are commonly and internationally used or have special meanings in the field of radioactive waste management. It should further contribute to a common use of terms in the IAEA Radioactive Waste Safety Standards (RADWASS) series. In the context of this glossary, the term ‘waste’ refers, in general, to radioactive waste unless otherwise specified.
