New Materials, Processing, and Manufacturing is a 20-chapter guide on manufacturing topics including cutting-edge material processing, technologies, and surface modification. The objective of this book discuss the different processing techniques and applications of advanced materials in the biomedical field. The purpose of this book present innovative materials and research solutions about applying the right materials with combinations of properties to meet design and service requirements.

Dive into pages detailing overviews of cold spray additive manufacturing and its history, principles, applications, and recent advancements. Another chapter highlights the importance of factors including materials selection, design considerations, and welding quality in how 3D printing works. Study a variety of surveys on technologies used to analyze characteristics of welding pools based on visual sensing technologies. Lastly, you don’t want to miss an introduction to the process parameter optimization approach that utilizes non-dominated sorting genetic algorithms.
