Radhakrishnan E.K., Ph.D., is a senior researcher in the School of Biosciences at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, India. In addition, he is also the director of the business innovation and incubation center and joint director of the Inter-University Centre for Organ Farming and Sustainable Agriculture. He completed a Ph.D. in biotechnology from the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Kerala, India. His research studies include plant-microbe interactions, microbial natural products, microbial synthesis of metal nanoparticles, etc. He has 150 publications in various journals, delivered 41 talks at various national and international conferences, and was listed as a top 2% scientist in 2022.    Ashitha Jose is an assistant professor at the School of Biosciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, India. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in biosciences at the School of Biosciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Her research focuses on developing bionanocomposites for packing applications of the developed materials. In between her studies, Jose has authored several book chapters and research publications with Scrivener and Springer.   Visakh P.M., Ph.D., is a research assistant, Department of Chemical Oceanography, School of Marine Sciences, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Cochin, Kerala, India.  He obtained his doctorate at the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, India and his post doc. research in Tomsk Polytechnic University, Russia.  He has edited more than 40 books and published about 20 journal articles, 4 reviews articles and more than 45 book chapters. His research interests include polymer sciences, material sciences, bio-nanocomposites and rubber-based nanocomposites, fire retardant polymers.
