This book offers a current image of modern mechanics. The book reflects current state of the art in the field of continuum mechanics and mechanics of structures including recent achievements in classic and non-classic approaches. The chapters are written by leading specialist in the field, so the book collects cutting edge investigations in the field. As a target we consider the society starting from beginners, i.e. master and PhD students, and also leaders in the field, that is professors of universities and civil, mechanical and aerospace engineers.

lt;b>Professor Dr.-Ing.habil. Dr.h.c.mult. Holm Altenbach is Member of the International Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics and the International Research Center on Mathematics and Mechanics of Complex Systems (M&MoCS), Italy. He has held positions at the Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg and Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, both in Germany. He graduated from Leningrad Polytechnic Institute in 1980 (diplomain Dynamics and Strength of Machines) and was awarded his Ph.D. degree in 1983 and his Doctor of Technical Sciences degree in 1987 at the same Institute. He is currently Full Professor of Engineering Mechanics at the Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Mechanics (since 2011), where he has been Acting Director since 2015. Since October 1st, 2022, he is retired. His areas of scientific interest include:General theory of elastic and inelastic plates and shells, Creep and damage mechanics, Strength theories, and Nano- and micromechanics.
He is author/co-author/editor of 80 books, 580 scientific papers (310 of which were peer-reviewed) and 550 scientific lectures. He was the Managing Editor (2004 to 2014) and has been Editor-in-Chief (since 2006) of the Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (ZAMM) - the oldest journal in mechanics in Germany (founded by Richard von Mises in 1921). He is the Advisory Editor of the journal Continuum Mechanics and Thermodynamics (Springer), Associate Editor of the journal Mechanics of Composites (Riga) and Editor of the Springer Series "Advanced Structured Materials".
His numerous awards include: the 1992 Krupp-Award (Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation), 2000 Best paper of the year (Journal of Strain Analysis for Engineering Design), 2003 Gold Medal of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Politechnika Lubelska, Poland, 2004 Semko-Medal of the National Technical University Kharkov, Ukraine, 2007 Doctor honoris causa, National Technical University Kharkov, Ukraine; 2011 Fellow of the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science, 2014 Doctor honoris causa, University Constanta, Romania, 2016 Doctor honoris causa, Vekua-Institute, Tbilisi, Georgia, and 2018 Alexander von Humboldt Award (Poland). In 2019 he was elected as Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and in 2021 of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
This was presented, for example, in the description of ASM 153. In red three misprints and one actual improvement. Please make the necessary changes. If it is possible add also the blue part (see ASM 155). It will be nice if you unify this part for Volums 153, 185, 186, and 188.

Prof. Dr. hab. Victor A. Eremeyev is an Associate Professor of University of Cagliari, Italy. He is a member of American Mathematical Society; the International Research Center on Mathematics and Mechanics of Complex Systems (M&MoCS), Italy; and Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. Employment history includes positions at Rostov State University/South Federal University, Don State Technical University, and Southern Scientific Center of Russian Academy of Science, Rostov on Don, at Research Institute for Mechanics, National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod, Russia; at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany; at Rzeszow University of Technology, Rzeszów; and Gdansk University of Technology, Gdansk, Poland. He graduated from Rostov State University in 1985 (diploma in Mechanics with a distinction). He earned his Ph.D. at Rostov State University in 1990 (title: The stability of two-phase nonlinear thermo-elastic bodies). Dr.hab was awarded Doctor of science in Physics & Mathematics in 2004 at Institute of Pro
