Electrochemistry and Photo-Electrochemistry of Nanomaterials: Fundamentals and Applications explores how nanotechnology and nanomaterials can be utilized in the field of electrochemistry and photo-electrochemistry. The book covers the fundamentals of nanoscale electrochemistry and photo-electrochemistry for nanoscale materials systems, including multilayer nanofilms, nanowires, nanotubes, nanoparticles embedded in metal matrixes, and membranes containing nanoparticles. The creation of new materials for energy and sensing technologies that rely on understanding and control of chemical processes is also emphasized. Advances in characterization, synthesis, and fabrication of nanoscale materials and technologies are also discussed regarding the design of new materials. This book is suitable for academics and industry professionals working in the subject areas of materials science, materials chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and energy.
