lt;p>Dr. Razouki has over 19 years of experience in venture capital and private equity investment with a focus on healthcare and technology, shifting from an excellence in clinical practice and research to the management and financing of healthcare and education systems. A graduate of Columbia Business School, Dr. Razouki received an MBA with a focus on Healthcare Management and Finance. Dr. Razouki is a member of the Hermes Honors Society of Columbia Business School, an honor bestowed on to the top global alumni of the university. An Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon by training, Dr. Razouki has completed clinical rotations at New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia University Medical Center, Harlem Hospital, Cleveland University Hospital of Case Western Reserve University and Mass General Hospital of Harvard University. Dr. Razouki graduated with Cum Laude Honors from Creighton University with a Bachelors in Biology (Ethology) and TPP (Theology, Philosophy and Political Science).

 

Sophie Smith is the Founder and CEO of Nabta Health (2017 - present), a hybrid healthcare platform for women, empowering women in emerging markets to detect, diagnose and treat non-communicable diseases. Smith is credited with coining the term "hybrid healthcare" and conceptualising the hybrid healthcare model, which builds on principles of integrated care through the application of three core concepts: patient centricity, augmented intelligence, and decentralisation.

 

Smith has 11 years of industry experience as a technologist and serial impact entrepreneur. Prior to founding Nabta, Smith worked for Accenture as a technology consultant for 4 years and then founded several impact startups over 3 years including myZindagi (a doctor-finding platform based in Pakistan) and Le Plastics (a plastic recycling company based in Sierra Leone). Smith's lifetime ambition is to make healthcare affordable and accessible for all women.

 

Smith read History at the University of Cambridge (2007 - 2010) and completed an MBA with Quantic School of Business and Technology (2018).
