Electric energy, as a strategic resource, needs to be explored in its diversity of options offered today by available technologies. In this work, we focused on hybrid systems to identify the conditions of possibilities for their use. Electric energy, from hybrid systems that combine wind and solar photovoltaic power, provides isolated communities with a development that is at least more sustainable from an energy-environmental point of view than the current conventional supply model.
