Electric energy, as a strategic resource, needs to be explored in its diversity of options offered today by available technologies. In this work, we focused on hybrid systems to identify the conditions of possibilities for their use. Electric energy, from hybrid systems that combine wind and solar photovoltaic power, provides isolated communities with a development that is at least more sustainable from an energy-environmental point of view than the current conventional supply model.

PhD in Development and Environment by UFPI. Master in Applied Physics Sciences from UECE. Graduated in Electrical Engineering from UFC and in Physics from UECE. Professor of Electrical Engineering at UFPI. Professor of Electrical Engineering at UFPI. Permanent professor of the PhD in Development and Environment (UFPI).
