Salim Kurnaz is an Assistant Professor at Süleyman Demirel University, School of Civil Aviation and continues his studies in the fields of contemporary management systems, strategic management, and behavioral sciences. He worked as a maintenance technician, quality control technician and maintenance instructor in the Turkish Armed Forces between 1997-2020. He worked at Joint Force Command (JFCBS) Brunssum/ Netherlands between 2010-2013. He received his first bachelor’s degree in public management in 2005 and second bachelor’s degree on Aviation Management in 2022 from Anadolu University. He received his first master’s degree in International Relations from Oklahoma University Oklahoma/USA in 2013 and second master’s degree in Business Management from Malatya Inonu University in 2018. He completed his PhD on Management Sciences in 2019 in Malatya Inonu University. António Rodrigues obtained a PhD in Management and Marketing at the University of Seville in Spain. He is currently a professor and researcher at the ISG-Business & Economics School (Lisbon, Portugal). He has teaching experience in undergraduate and master’s degrees in Aeronautical Management. He is the author of several opinion articles and scientific articles. Professionally, he has experience in the financial, marketing and general management areas. He is certified in Sustainable Finance (ESG Advisor) by EFPA The European Financial Planning Association. Dorothea Bowyer is a lecturer at Western Sydney University (WSU) School of Business with a research focus on (a) the air transport industry and stakeholder accountability, (b) gender equity in higher education and (c) graduate employability. The scope of her industry related research focuses on the air transport industry and infrastructure asset management. In 2019 she was awarded the Western Sydney University (WSU) School of Business Priority Research Initiative grant to assist with infrastructure asset management and reporting in preparation for Western Sydney airport development. The dissertation topic of her PhD on airport stakeholders (completion 2009) and the development of a stakeholder performance assessment model (SAPAM) to assess the Sydney Airport Privatisation received recognition by the American Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Foundation for Applied Research (FAR) and she received external recognition as Early Career Researcher (post doc). It ignited her passion for expanding her research to regional aviation and public sector infrastructure reporting. Dorothea has been involved in multiple Gender Equity Funded projects and extended her work to focus on investigating gender equity policies for student-parents in Australia and the availability and delivery of innovative flexible childcare minding options in the higher education sector to reflect the needs of working parents in a post-Covid environment. She is also involved in work-integrated learning initiatives in her School and has implemented project-based and research-based learning and collaborative online international learning as part of innovative student-centric approachesto student engagement. Dorothea has held guest lectureships in Europe and is the European Academic Lead in her School. She has been the recipient of several grants, including the Endeavour Leadership Program and the New Colombo Plan.
