This tutorial starts by explaining how to make sense of the PC servicing procedures which are described in part two of the book. Also included are practical exercises, and a final short section collects together useful technical data for easy reference.
This tutorial guide comes in four parts, starting with the necessary fundamental knowledge required to make sense of the servicing procedures described in the second section. This second part introduces a range of the most useful fault finding methods. Section three consists of a number of practical exercises, each described and illustrated step-by-step. From preparing the workspace and removing the cover, through simple up-grading to more complex fault-finding and rectification, the trainee is equipped to meet the servicing needs most commonly encountered wherever PCs are used. A final short section collects together useful technical data for easy reference.
