Academic Press Inc (Verlag)
978-0-323-89865-2 (ISBN)
With all aspects of flow battery modeling and multiscale modeling strategies and simulations, from the kinetics of active species to whole battery performance, this book is beneficial to researchers majoring in engineering and a modeling paradigm for those working on other electrochemical systems.
Professor T.S Zhao, Chair Professor of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology combines his expertise in research and technological innovation with a commitment to creating clean energy production and storage devices for a sustainable future. He has made seminal contributions in the areas of fuel cells, advanced batteries, multiscale multiphase heat and mass transport with electrochemical reactions, and computational modeling. In addition to 5 edited books, 9 book chapters, and over 70 keynote lectures at international conferences, he has published 356 papers in various prestigious journals. These papers have collectively received more than 16,000 citations and earned Prof Zhao an h-index of 66. Dr. Ao Xu is an associate professor of fluid mechanics at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU). He received his bachelor's degree in theoretical and applied mechanics from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2017. Dr. Xu's research is focused on the numerical modeling of heat and mass transfer in complex fluids. He has published 24 papers in various prestigious journals. These papers have collectively received more than 530 citations and earned Dr. Xu an h-index of 15.
