This book collects chapters on Aerospace Mechatronics and Control Technology as selected contributions from the 7th Asia Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering (MEAE) in 2021. The book focuses on novel techniques for aviation infrastructure in aerospace mechatronics and avionics systems, mechanical engineering in aerospace, and mechanical design and control system domains. The contents make valuable contributions to academic researchers and engineers in the industry.

The MEAE 2021 provides a forum to discuss the latest trends and advances in mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering and related fields, and foster the exchange of ideas and international collaboration in the field.

Prof. Huafeng Ding was born in 1977 who is currently doctoral supervisor at China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China. He is also 'Humboldt Scholar' and winner of Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation. He has successively received Ph.D. from Yanshan University and University of Duisburg-Essen. He has received No. 1 Special Funding of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and No. 43 First-Class Funding of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the nomination of National Top 100 Excellent Doctoral Dissertations. At present, he is the dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Information, director of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, executive director of Robot Branch of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and chairman of Wuhan Mechanical Engineering Society.

He has presided over 18 state-, provincial-, or ministry-level level programs and published more than 100 academic papers. More than 70 papers published in the famous journals of Mechanism and Machine Theory, ASME Journal of Mechanical Design, ASME Journal of Mechanisms and Robotics, and IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics and Nonlinear Dynamics have been indexed by SCI. He has been granted 52 invention patents and 22 computer software copyrights, and has published a monograph on Springer. He is now the associate editor of 'Mechanism and Machine Theory,' the editorial board member of 'China Mechanical Engineering,' the reviewer of more than 20 important journals in mechanical field at home and abroad, and the communication reviewer of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has served as the chairman of international conference for six times and made reports on the conference for five times.
