Prof. Dr. Kakandikar Ganesh Marotrao is Professor and Head of School - Mechanical Engineering at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. He has completed Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded in 2014. He has 22 years of experience in Teaching, Research and Administration. He has authored 04 books published internationally by CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group and contributed book chapters published by Wiley, Springer, Elsevier. 80+ publications are at his credit in National/International Journals and conferences. He is reviewer of many reputed journals. He has chaired sessions in various National and International conferences and also worked on their advisory committees. His publications have been widely cited by researchers. He is Fellow of The Institutions of Engineers [India]. He is professional member of various society’s including International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making, International Society for Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization and Sheet Metal Forming Research Association. He has executed many research projects with industries especially on optimization of automotive components. He has guided several M.Tech. Thesis and adjudicated many of other universities. He is recipient of many academic and industry awards including: Young Scientist International Travel Grant by Government of India in 2013 to visit Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, Switzerland. Indo Global Engineering Excellence Award – 2015 from Indo Global Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture for Research Work in Engineering, Cooper Engineering Prize for Best Paper in Mechanical Engineering for paper entitled "Thinning Optimization in Punch Plate using Flower Pollination Algorithm at Annual Technical Paper Meet 2015 of The Institution of Engineers (India) at Pune, Appreciation Award in ANSYS Hall of Fame 2017. Rajarambapu Patil National Award for Promising Engineering Teacher 2020 from Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi. Teacher of the year award 2021 in Technology category from Academisthan Foundation Mumbai He regularly writes columns in India print media on education systems and reforms. He is also contributing for quality technical education as Accessor for NAAC. He is presently executing Research Project funded by Defense Research and Development Organization, New Delhi. He is presently executing Techno Societal Research Project funded by Dassault Systemes, India. Dr. Anupam Agrawal received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College Gorakhpur, UP, Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, WB and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, UP. He worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow at International Center for Automotive Research (ICAR) at Clemson University, US, for two years. After his postdoctoral stint he joined as an Assistant Professor in 2010, and as Associate Professor in 2015, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Ropar. Dr. Anupam Agrawal has been working in forming/micromachining/advanced manufacturing processes, CAD/CAM for more than 15 years. His current research interests are in the area of microfabrication using EDM, Laser machining, Mechanical Micromachining. He is also working on 3d printing of biomedical implants using suitable additive manufacturing processes along with micromachining processes. He has wide experience of micromanufacturing processes and also he has established a dedicated lab for performing micro-manufacturing processes at IIT Ropar. He has more than 70 publications in international journals, international and national conferences. Dr. D. Ravi Kumar is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. He has more than 25 years of experience in teaching and research. His research interests include Metal Forming, Plasticity and Materials Processing. His specific research has been focused mainly on Sheet Metal Forming and Finite Element Analysis. He has guided several Ph. D. scholars and masters’ students in their thesis work. He has published over 100 research papers in international journals and conferences worldwide. He was a Humboldt Research Fellow at the Institute for Metal Forming Technology (IFU), University of Stuttgart and University of Erlangen, Germany. He was a visiting faculty at the University of Waterloo, Canada. Before joining IIT Delhi, he was a researcher at Tata Steel (R&D), Jamshedpur. Dr. Ravi Kumar has received several awards and honours for his teaching and research. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Production Engineering Journal (Springer). He is an active member of Sheet Metal Forming Research Association (SMFRA).
