This book gathers selected papers presented at the International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Soft Computing (ICMISC 2021), organized by Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India during 22 – 24 September 2021. Prof. (Dr.) Debnath Bhattacharyya is associated as a Professor with Computer Science and Engineering Department, Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (known as K.L. Deemed to be University), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Dr. Bhattacharyya is presently an Invited International Professor, Lincoln University College, KL, Malaysia. Dr. Bhattacharyya received his Ph.D. (Tech., Computer Science and Engineering) from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India. Dr. Bhattacharyya is the Member of IEEE (Since 2010), Life Member of CSI, India. He is the Editor of Many International Journals (indexed by Scopus, SCI, and Web of Science).  He Published 168 Scopus Indexed Papers, and 128 Web of Science Papers. His Research interests include Security Engineering, Pattern Recognition, Biometric Authentication, Multimodal Biometric Authentication, Data Mining and Image Processing. Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Saha currently associated as Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India.  He did is BE and ME from Jadavpur University and completed his PhD from IIEST Shibpur, West Bengal, India. His Research interests include Image, Video and Audio Data Processing, Physiological Sensor Signal Processing and Data Analytics. He published more than hundred articles in various International Journals and Conferences of repute.  He has guided eleven PhD Students. He holds four US patents. Dr. Saha is a member of IEEE Computer Society, Indian Unit for Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, ACM. He has served TCS innovation Lab, Kolkata, India as advisor for the signal processing group. Philippe Fournier-Viger (Ph.D) is professor at the Shenzhen University (Shenzhen, China). Five years after completing his Ph.D., he came to China and became full professor at the Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), after obtaining a title of national talent from the National Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 290 research papers in international conferences and journals, which have received more than 6400 citations. He is associate editor-in-chief of the Applied Intelligence journal and editor-in-chief of Data Science and Pattern Recognition. He is founder of the popular SPMF open-source data mining library, which provides more than 190 algorithms for identifying various types of patterns in data, and has been used in more than 830 papers. He is co-organizers of the UDML series of workshops on utility pattern mining at KDD2018, ICDM2019 and ICDM2020.
