Method of Variation of Parameters for Dynamic Systems is a clear exposition of this important topic in control theory, which is not covered by any other text.
Method of Variation of Parameters for Dynamic Systems presents a systematic and unified theory of the development of the theory of the method of variation of parameters, its unification with Lyapunov's method and typical applications of these methods. No other attempt has been made to bring all the available literature into one volume. This book is a clear exposition of this important topic in control theory, which is not covered by any other text. Such an exposition finally enables the comparison and contrast of the theory and the applications, thus facilitating further development in this fascinating field.

V. Lakshmikantham is the Director of Interdisciplinary Programs at the Florida Institute of Technology, USA. He is the founder and editor of Nonlinear Analysis, Stochastic Analysis, Mathematical Problems in Engineering, Nonlinear Studies and Nonlinear World. He is the author of 25 books and has published more than 300 research papers on differential equations and nonlinear analysis. Professor Lakshmikantham is also the founder of the International Federation of Nonlinear Analysts (IFNA) and has organized two World Congresses of Nonlinear Analysts. In addition he is also the associate editor on several journals, and the editor of the book series Stability and Control: Theory, Methods and Applications. Sadashiv G. Deo received his PhD from Marathwada University in 1965. He has taught at the Ruparel College, Bombay (1956-1963), Marathwada University, Aurgangabad (1963-1973), Bombay University and Goa University (1973-1993). He was a member of the visiting faculty in the University of Alberta, Canada (1969-1971), University of Texas at Arlington, USA (1982-1983) and Florida Institute of Technology, USA (1994-1996). In addition to numerous research papers, Professor Deo has published a textbook, a monograph and has edited a conference proceeding volume.
