Dr. Jitendra Kumar Katiyar is a Research Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Former SRM University), Kattankulathur, Chennai. He is associated with Tribology and Surface Interaction Research laboratory which is an advanced research lab dedicated to the promotion, development, and understanding of tribology in different application such as bearing, lubrication and polymer composites. He obtained his Ph.D., from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2017. He has completed his masters from the same institution in 2010. He obtained his bachelor of technology from UPTU Lucknow with Honors in 2007. He has several life professional memberships such as Tribology Society of India, Malaysian Society of Tribology, and The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) etc. He has been invited for expert lecture from various institutes. He has published 20+ journal papers in reputed journals and has published/attended 25+ international/national conferences. He has also published more than dozen book chapters in CRC press, Springer and Elsevier. He has published two books in the field of tribology in Springer, Singapore. Those are Tribology in Materials and Application, and Automotive Tribology. He has also published Engineering Thermodynamics in Khanna Publication, New Delhi national level book for undergraduate. He is active reviewer in Tribology International, Wear, colloids and Interface Communications, Friction, Material Research Express, Defence Technology, Journal of Materials Research and Technology and Inderscience Journals etc. He received the grant from various government organization such as MHRD, SERB etc. He has conducted several events related to tribology such as Industrial Tribology, Tribology in Materials and manufacturing. He is the organizer of TRIBOINDIA 2020, 2nd international conference under the aegis of Tribology Society of India in the month of December 2020. Dr. Mir Irfan Ul Haq is an Assistant Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. He has previously worked at the R&D wing of Mahindra and Mahindra. He obtained his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from SMVD University and Master of Engineering in Mechanical System Design (Gold Medalist) from National Institute of Technology Srinagar. He has carried out Ph.D. in the area of tribology at SMVD University. He is actively involved in teaching and research in the field of materials, tribology and 3D printing. His research interests include lightweight materials, New Product Development and Additive Manufacturing, Development of Green Lubricants, Self-Lubricating Materials and Cutting Fluids, Mechanical Testing of Composites, Friction and Wear of Materials, Surface Engineering. He has published 30 research papers in SCI and Scopus indexed journals. Moreover, he has been awarded research project grants from agencies such as DST and NPIU AICTE. He has attended several conferences and workshops both in India and abroad like USA and Singapore. He is member of reviewer boards of various international journals, apart from chairing technical sessions in various international and national conferences. Dr. Haq is actively involved in organizing conferences and workshops. He has also coordinated various student events such as SAEBAJA, ECOKART and TEDX. He has supervised around 20 Masters and Bachelor level projects. Dr. Haq has served as member of various committees at national and state level. Dr. Ankush Raina is an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Jammu and Kashmir. His Area of Interest includes Wear and Lubrication, Additive Manufacturing, Aerodynamics, Rheological properties of lubricating Oils. He has been awarded PhD in the area of Industrial Lubrication. He completed M. Tech in Mechanical System Design from NIT Srinagar, Kashmir. He was awarded with Gold Medal for securing first position in M. Tech. He has published more than 25 articles in the SCI/SCIE/Scopus indexed journals and attended more than 15 International Conferences. Dr. R. Arvind Singh is a Professor at the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Wenzhou University, Wenzhou, China, from June 2019 till date. He received his doctoral degree from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India in 2003. His expertise is in tribology and surface engineering related to aerospace, automotive, renewable energy, biomedical and MEMS applications. He has extensive experience in both academic and corporate R&D environments. His academic career profile includes being a Professor at India, and more than 10 years of experience abroad. He was a Senior Research Engineer at the Energy Research Institute (ERIAN) at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, Lead Engineer at the Vestas Global R&D (Singapore), Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Scientist at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Seoul, South Korea and Materials Scientist at the John. F. Welch Technology Center (GE India). Dr. Arvind received the ‘First Surface Engineering Best Paper Award’ from the Society for Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) USA in 2007, for his pioneering work on biomimetic tribological solutions to micro/nano-scale devices. He was the recipient of ‘Best Scientific Presentation Award’ given by the Energy Research Institute (ERIAN), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He received ‘The KSTLE Best Poster Award’ by the Korean Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (KSTLE). His current research interests include tribological behaviour of light alloys/composites and additive manufacturing of non-ferrous metals. He has 7 e-disclosures, 3 best paper awards, 3 highly cited papers and has written 1 book and 10 book chapters. He has about 150 international journals/conference publications, with citations 1000+ and h-index: 19. Dr. S. Jayalakshmi is a Professor at the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Wenzhou University, Wenzhou, China, from June 2019 till date. She received her PhD from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India, in 2002. Her academic career profile includes being a Professor at India and 10 years of experience abroad as Research Fellow and Academic Visitor at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore and as Scientist at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Seoul, South Korea. In her research career, she is actively involved in the design and development of new Mg-based alloys/nanocomposites. She has extensive research experience in investigating the processing, characterization, and structure-property relation of metallic materials including light metal alloys/composites and amorphous alloys/bulk metallic glasses. Her current research interests include additive manufacturing of non-ferrous metals and high entropy alloys. She received the ‘Best Master’s Thesis Award’ at the national level, given by the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE). She was selected for the prestigious INAE Research Scheme at the national level in 2018. She has 2 best paper awards and best reviewer recognition by Elsevier She has published 2 books and 7 book chapters. She has more than 150 publications in international journals/conferences, with citations 1100+ and h-index of 20.
