This book aims to comprehensively summarize the current research status of nanomaterials and cell biology. It highlights the biological effects and biomedical applications of nanomaterials for specific diseases, bone tissue engineering, and skeletal muscle regeneration. It also provides the details of the biomedical applications of nucleic acid nanomaterials in drug delivery carriers, antimicrobial therapy, vaccine, and neurodegenerative diseases. Therefore, this book renders the audience a better understanding of nanomaterials along with the diverse applications in the cell biology field from recent works to perspectives.

Yunfeng Lin (West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, Chengdu, P. R. China) Yunfeng Lin earned his M.Sc. (2003) and Ph.D. (2006) degrees from West China Collage of Stomatology in Sichuan University. Then, He engaged in Harvard University for clinical and scientific research in 2009. Currently, he is a researcher and doctoral supervisor in the department of State Key Laboratory of Oral Diseases at Sichuan University and has published more than 170 SCI papers in scientific journals cited over 3600 times, including Materials Today, Nano Letters, Bone Research, Small, Biomaterials et al. His research interests include framework nucleic acids for molecular bioimaging, gene and drug delivery, and key theories and techniques of oral regenerative medicine. Dr. Lin has edit 7 English books. Ronghui Zhou (West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, Chengdu, P. R. China) Ronghui Zhou has received her BS (2012) and PhD (2017) in Analytical Chemistry from College of Chemistry in Sichuan University.
