Panicos A. Kyriacou is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Biomedical Research Centre at City, University of London, UK. Prof Kyriacou has a long track record in basic and applied research in Photoplethysmography (PPG). His primary focus is the utilisation of PPG for the innovation of new disruptive technologies for the early diagnosis of disease and the facilitation of unobtrusive health and fitness monitoring. John Allen is a Professor of Biosensors and Bioinstrumentation at Coventry University, UK. Prof. Allen has an established track record in research covering novel vascular optical sensing technologies for the assessment of the microcirculation and innovative PPG pulse measurement and analysis for the detection of (cardio-)vascular disease. He is a registered Clinical Scientist and has wide-ranging expertise in clinical physiological measurement.
