The authors illustrate various diagnostics over internet protocol and over-the-air update process, present advanced driver assistance systems, discuss various cyber security issues involved in connected cars, and provide necessary information about Autosar and Misra coding standards. The book is relevant to academics, professionals, and researchers.

lt;p>Kathiresh started his teaching career with PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India, fresh out of graduate school eight years ago. He brought with him a solid training in pedagogical methods, and strong technical skills, along with great energy and enthusiasm. Kathiresh has strong academic background as he had completed his Under Graduation in the stream of Electronics and Communication Engineering (with Distinction); Post Graduation in Embedded and Real-Time Systems (with Distinction), and Ph.D. in the area of Automotive Embedded Systems. His areas of interests include Automotive Embedded Systems, Real-Time Systems, and Internet of Things. He has contributed to several projects that are funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Indian Government. He is a Life Member of various professional bodies like Institute of Engineers, Indian Society of Technical Education, Society of Automobile Engineers, etc. He has done several innovative projects which are now published in reputed journals & books and are patented. Kathiresh was instrumental in reframing the curriculum of M.E. Embedded & Real-time Systems Programme based on Industry 4.0. He has introduced several new courses and new laboratory experiments for both PG and UG curriculum Kathiresh successfully collaborated with his mentor Dr. R. Neelaveni, took advantage of several professional development opportunities offered in the department, and established the PSG-TI Centre of Excellence for Internet of Things, Embedded and Real-Time Systems Lab, and Innovation Practices Lab. Kathiresh has helped in creating a learning platform for the faculty and students by organizing various Faculty Development Programmes, Technical Workshops and Seminars, International and National Conferences, and One Credit Courses in collaboration with various Industries and Research Institutes. He has also started a new technical club called "Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Club" to provide a platform to the students where they can explore, experiment and exhibit their ideas.

G. R. Kanagachidambaresan received his B.E degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University in 2010 and M.E Pervasive Computing Technologies in Anna University in 2012. He has completed his Ph.D. in Anna University Chennai in 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor, Department of CSE, Veltech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology. His main research interest includes Body Sensor Network and Fault Tolerant Wireless Sensor Network. He has published several reputed articles and undertaken several consultancy activities for leading MNC companies.  He has also guest edited several special issue articles and serving as editorial review board members for peer reviewed journals.
