Willemite-Based Glass Ceramic Doped by Different Percentage of Erbium Oxide and Sintered in Temperature of 500-1100C (eBook)
VIII, 73 Seiten
Springer International Publishing (Verlag)
978-3-030-10644-7 (ISBN)
This book investigates the effect of sintering temperature on willemite based glass-ceramic doped with different content of Er2O3. It is the first to report research on producing willemite by using waste materials and using trivalent erbium (Er3+) as a dopant. This book provides a survey of the literature on glass and glass-ceramic, while comprehensive experiments and analysis have been performed on the material used.
Gholamreza Vahedi Sarrigani is a PhD student in University of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. His current project focuses on gas separation using membrane technology.
Iraj Sadegh Amiri received his B. Sc (Applied Physics) from Public University of Oroumiyeh, Iran in 2001 and a gold medalist M. Sc. (Physics/Optics)) from University Technology Malaysia (UTM), in 2009. He was awarded a PhD degree in Physics (photonics) in Jan 2014. He has been doing research on several topics such as the optical soliton communications, laser physics, plasmonics photonics devices, nonlinear fiber optics, optoelectronics devices using 2D materials, waveguides, quantum cryptography and nanotechnology engineering.
