Rex Miller is professor Emeritus of Industrial Technology at State University of New York, College at Buffalo, and has taught technical courses on all levels from high school through graduate school for over 40 years. This includes the supervision of construction of six houses across the spectrum in size and complexity. This also includes the construction of a house from his own prints and design. He is experienced in plumbing and electrical work. Dr. Miller is author or co-author of over 100 textbooks and a like number of magazine articles. His books include McGraw-Hill's Carpentry and Construction, Electricity and Electronics for HVAC and Industrial Electricity and Electric Motor Controls. Mark R. Miller is Professor and Coordinator of Industrial Technology at The University of Texas at Tyler. This Dr. Miller is the author or co-author of more than 40 textbooks for trades and technical programs, including: Audel's Refrigeration: Home and Commercial, and McGraw-Hill's Electricity and Electronics for HVAC and McGraw-Hill's bestselling Carpentry and Construction, now in its 6th Edition, and McGraw-Hill's Miller's Guide to Home Plumbing.
