Dr. Santi Kulprathipanja is a Senior Fellow and Director of Southeast Asia Research & Development, Honeywell UOP. He holds a PhD from Iowa State University, MS from Texas A&M University and BS from Chulalongkorn University. And he was a post-doctoral at MIT and Harvard for 2 years before joining Honeywell UOP in 1978. Dr. Kulprathipanja has established himself as a separations scientist, focusing on petroleum refining, petrochemicals, and gas processing. She is an inventor of over 115 USA patents and is the editor and co-author of 2 books. She co-authored over 70 refereed technical publications and several book chapters. Dr. Kulprathipanja received awards in AIChE Clarence G. Gerhold in Separation, Honeywell Distinguished Technology Award, Honorary Degree from Chulalongkorn University, Distinguished Achievement Citation from Chulalongkorn University and Iowa State University. Dr. James E. Rekoske is currently the Vice President of Research and Development and Chief Technology Officer of Honeywell UOP, a leading process licensor, catalyst and adsorbent manufacturer and service provider for the refining, petrochemical and gas processing industries. Dr. Rekoske has held numerous roles in the chemical process industries, including most recently as the Global Business Director for Honeywell UOP's petrochemicals business. Dr. Rekoske holds BS and MS degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a PhD degree in chemical engineering from the University of Delaware and was an Amy and Richard F. Wallman Scholar at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he earned his MBA. Dr. Daniel Wei is the R&D Director at Honeywell UOP in Des Plaines, Illinois, USA. Having obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, he spent 30 years working for UOP with extensive knowledge in development processes and catalysts in the refining, petrochemical, and coal to chemical areas. He holds 8 patents and has 15 scientific publications. Dr. Robert Slone is the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Honeywell UOP. Rob recently joined UOP from Stepan Company, where he served as Chief Technology and Sustainability Officer, leading an organization of 240 scientists in eight countries. Prior to this, he was Technology Director of BP?s Castrol specialty lubricants business and Global R&D Director of Formulation Science and Materials Science at the Dow Chemical Company. He began his career in the Polymers division of Rohm & Haas, which later was acquired by Dow. During this time, Rob spent two years building R&D teams and labs in Shanghai, China. Dr. Trung Pham has worked at Honeywell UOP since 2011. He is currently a Sr. R&D Engineer in Process Design Development group. During his time at UOP, he has worked and contributed to the UOP processes including Unicracking, IsoAlky, Olefin/Paraffin Membrane and kinetic model development for RCD-RFCC, MX Sorbex, Tatoray, Uniflex and Olefin Cracking Process. Trung has 9 U.S. Patents. He also lectures in Refining and Petrochemical courses at 3 universities in Vietnam (PetroVietnam University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, and Hanoi University of Science). Trung received his PhD and Postdoc from the University of Oklahoma in 2010 after graduating with a BS in Chemical Engineering from the same institution in 2003. Dr. Chunqing Liu is the R&D Fellow and Sr. Manager of Membranes R&D Group at Honeywell UOP in Des Plaines, USA. She received her PhD in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from the Institute of Chemistry, the Chinese Academy of Sciences in China. She has been awarded 70 U.S. patents, authored/co-authored 3 book chapters and over 50 journal publications.
