This is one of a series of brief books which is designed to act as an additional enhancement to student courses and which is intended to stimulate critical thinking about specific major issues. This book, on alternative energy sources, offers descriptions of certain courses of action, the arguments for and against each one, a ballot at the end and an address to which to send the students' views. The views expressed in the ballots are received, analyzed and published by the National Forums Issues in Ohio in summary form. All participants have their efforts reinforced by receiving a report and by knowing that their views have become part of a national consortium.
