Asteroseismology and Exoplanets: Listening to the Stars and Searching for New Worlds
Springer International Publishing (Verlag)
978-3-319-59314-2 (ISBN)
Tiago L. Campante is a Research Scientist at the University of Göttingen (Germany). His main research interests are focused on asteroseismology and exoplanetary science. He devotes most of his time to the asteroseismic investigation of solar-type stars and red giants, having developed a special interest in the characterization of exoplanet-host stars. Dr. Campante has been an active contributor to the asteroseismic program of the NASA Kepler mission, having also previously contributed to the analysis of seismic targets observed by the CoRoT space mission and during ground-based, radial-velocity campaigns. He is currently engaged in the stellar science preparation work for the upcoming NASA's TESS and ESA's PLATO missions.
