His areas of expertise are wide-ranging, including Linux-embedded kernel and device drivers, C/C++, Java, OpenGL, Assembler, Android NDK/SDK/ADK, and 2G/3G/4G modem integration. Manoel Carlos Ramon is a Senior Software Engineer at Intel Corporation. Before receiving his education as a software and electrical engineer, he started programming in BASIC with an 8-bit micro-computer when he was eight years old. His current expertise is in assembler, C, C++ and Java for embedded devices. He has deep experience developing device drivers, Android and MIDP/CLDC applications, virtual-machine porting and modem LTE/UTMS integration for mobile phones and tablets. He is happy to be a self-proclaimed "Linux lover forever".
