Insulation Measurement and Supervision in Live AC and DC Unearthed Systems

Piotr Olszowiec (M.Sc. electrical engineer, Poland), graduated from Academy of Mining and Metallurgy (Cracow), has worked over 30 years at Polaniec Power Plant (Poland). He is an owner of two patents relating to insulation resistance measurement in DC circuits. He is also an author of few papers on electrical protections and measurements and numerous articles on power engineering published in Polish technical periodicals. In 2011 COSiW (Poland) published his first book “Insulation Monitoring in DC Networks” (in Polish) based on gained professional experience. The manual “Insulation Measurement and Supervision in Live AC and DC Unearthed Systems” contains an updated overview of theoretical and practical knowledge about insulation monitoring issues.
