Neutron Physics Unit

The year 2007 was a busy year for the Neutron Physics unit of IRMM, with considerable burden for our staff and the machines. In January, the EFNUDAT project started with a kick-off meeting at the FZK in Karlsruhe. This EU project aims at coordinating nuclear data measurement activities at several laboratories in Europe, fostering the exchange of expertise, coordinating common research projects, and supporting transnational access to the participating facilities. Our own transnational access programme NUDAME continued being very successful and in January the third meeting of the programme advisory committee was held in Geel.
