Burkard Wördenweber studierte Informatik und promovierte an der Cambridge University in Großbritannien im Bereich Rechnergestützte Modellierung, Berechnung und Simulation. Seit mehreren Jahren ist er in verantwortlicher Position bei der Hella KGaA in Lippstadt tätig, zuletzt als Leiter der Gesamtforschung. Gleichzeitig leitet er das L-LAB, eine Public-Private Partnership der Hella KGaA mit der Universität Paderborn. Seit 1999 ist er Privatdozent für Innovations- und Technologiemanagement wie auch Lichttechnik an der Universität Paderborn.
Jörg Wallaschek received his PhD from the Technische Hochschule Darmstadt, Germany. He is Professor of Mechatronics and Dynamics at the University of Paderborn.
Peter Boyce received his PhD from the University of Reading, England. He has been active in the field of lighting research for many years, in both the UK and the USA. He is Professor Emeritus at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and author of Human Factors in Lighting.
