Simultaneous diffusion and auto-catalytic reactions and the wave diffusion phenomena may have a combined effect of sub-critical damped oscillations in concentration under certain conditions. Closed form analytical solutions are developed from the hyperbolic partial differential equations that govern the phenomena.
