Jack Tresidder has worked as a newspaper journalist, foreign news editor, book and theatre critic and a publishing director. He is the author of 1001 Symbols and Symbols and their Meanings. Born and educated in New Zealand, he now lives and writes in a remote valley in the French Alps.
