South of Haunted Dreams

Eddy Harris continues his search for the roots of the Black American soul. He sets forth on a motorcycle trip into the American South that is also a personal journey of discovery in "slavery's old backyard", where memories linger around every corner. Harris takes us into the heart of the South - old and new - as he examines the issues of race then and now; whereas in "Native Stranger" he found that he did not belong in Africa, in "South of Haunted Dreams" he finds a home.
