Jane Creaton is Emeritus Professor of Higher Education at the University of Portsmouth. She is Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship in 2019 for her expertise in doctoral education. Owen Gower is Director of the UK Council for Graduate Education, where he leads the Council’s advocacy, including championing mental health support for doctoral researchers. He is a member of the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain, a Fellow of Goodenough College, and of the Royal Society of Arts.
