This book systematizes the latest findings on the clinical, psychological, and pedagogical features of today's children with special educational needs (SEN) and expands the scientific understanding that characterizes such children. The book develops a system of education and assistance for children with SEN, including children with locomotor disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and hearing and visual impairments. Anna A. Arinushkina is a former member of the Dissertation Council at the Institute of Management of Education of the Russian Academy of Education. She is Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, editor-in-chief of "Pedagogy and Education" journal, deputy editor-in-chief "Vestnik Moskovskogo Universiteta. Seriya XX. Pedagogicheskoe obrazovanie" (MSU Publishing House), and a member of the editorial boards of journals "Modern Education," "Education Management," and "Pedagogical Informatics". She is the author of 85 publications indexed by the Higher Attestation Commission (VAK), Scopus, and WoS. Her scientific interests include management in general education system, ungraded educational organizations, quality of education and big data in general education system in making management decisions.
