His published books include Myth Performance in African Diaspora Drama: Ritual Theatre and Dance; Mothers and Daughters; Caribbean Blues & Love's Genealogy; and Voices from Kibuli Country.Jemima Asabea Anderson, PhD, is Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana’s Department of English, where she teaches courses on phonetics and phonology, language and communication, sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, and pragmatics. Her co-edited publications include Identity Meets Nationality. Voices from the Humanities and Polite Requests in English in Ghana: Request forms in English in Ghana.Helen Yitah, PhD is a professor in the University of Ghana’s Department of English. She teaches courses on African literature, Ghanaian literature, new literatures in English, literary criticism, composition, the short story, autobiography, and research methods in literature. Her publications include the edited collections Philosophical Foundations of the African Humanities through Postcolonial Perspectives and After the Ceremonies: New and Selected Poems.Nicholas G Faraclas is Professor of Creole Languages and Linguistics at the University of Puerto Rico’s English Department. He has co-edited several books, including Agency in the Emergence of Creole Languages: The role of women. He has published dozens of chapters in edited volumes and numerous essays in scholarly journals in a variety of subjects including phonetics, phonology, morphology and Creole.
