Richard M. Denholm II, J.D. is a retired FBI supervisory special agent and currently an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, in the Department of Criminology, Law, and Society. Mr. Denholm received the U.S. Attorney General's Award for his successful FBI investigation leading to the conviction of a sitting U.S. Congressman. The Congressman was subsequently expelled from the House of Representatives, only the second time this had occurred since the U.S. Civil War. As an expert in anti-corruption efforts and information sharing, he led the FBI's Public Corruption Unit. He also served as the deputy director and acting director of the OCDETF Fusion Center during his FBI career.
