This book challenges existing thinking around international engagement practice in Indonesia and more broadly the ASEAN region. Written by leading practitioners and scholars from many disciplines, each contribution moves to shift the conversation towards meaningful intercultural engagement. It provides development practitioners, education and training facilitators, and policy and program administrators valuable insights into how to build trust and to respectfully engage with local institutions.
