lt;p>Dr Elissaios Papyrakis is an Associate Professor in Development Economics (Macroeconomics) at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Much of his research has focused on the long-term economic growth processes of developing economies, in particular with reference to those exporting mineral resources.
