This edited volume maps dialogues between science and technology studies research on the arts and the emerging field of artistic research. Henk Borgdorff is Academic Director and Professor of Research in the Arts at Academy of Creative and Performing Arts, Faculty of Humanities, Leiden University, and Professor at the University of the Arts The Hague, Royal Conservatoire, The Netherlands. Peter Peters is Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Maastricht University, The Netherlands. Trevor Pinch is Goldwin Smith Professor of Science and Technology Studies at Cornell University, USA.
