Fatma Bikmaz is a Professor of Curriculum and Instruction and Head of the Department of Educational Sciences at Ankara University, Turkey, where she also previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences. She has published many articles, books, and book chapters, and is the co-author of “Revealing the Professional Learning Needs of Teachers for the Successful Mentoring of Teacher Candidates” in European Journal of Teacher Education (2020). She has also edited three books and authored book chapters on curriculum, teacher educators, effective professional development models for teachers, and learner-centered models in higher education.Fatma Mizikaci is a Professor in Curriculum and Instruction at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Ankara University in Turkey. She is the author of the books Higher Education in Turkey (2006) and Total Quality Management in Higher Education (2009). She recently co-edited Critical Pedagogy and the Covid-19 Pandemic: Keeping Communities Together in Times of Crisis (2022), A Language of Freedom and Teacher’s Authority: Case Comparisons from Turkey and the United States (2017), and From Here to There: Mileposts of European Higher Education (2007).
