Norwegian Social Law

This is a text on Norwegian social law, as an example of what is often called the Scandinavian or Nordic model. The work contributes to the picture of the Scandinavian welfare state in general. Part one contains a survey of the entire social security legislation, its history, administrative structure and the financing of social security measures, the fundamental social security concepts, legal sources and the rule of law. The second part gives an account of the national insurance system, while part three discusses disablement. Part four deals with some health and welfare law subjects.
