Nick Aiken has joined forces with Tim Sudworth to create this prayer manual. Part one gives some basic teaching about prayer, from the Bible to today's youth prayer movements. Part two contains some 350 contemporarily written prayers. Part three offers simple liturgies and examples and ideas, including images and graphics, on ways in which young people can be stimulated to pray.

This book includes prayers of thanksgiving and intercession written by young people for young people expressing a vitality of faith and a passion for God's world. It focuses on key issues that young people really want to pray about; international debt, fair trade, terrorism, AIDS, drugs, the celebrity culture, changing patterns of family life, internet pornography, sexuality and more.

Nick Aiken is rector of Pyrford, near Woking and was previously Diocesan Youth Officer for the Diocese of Guildford. He is the author of numerous books including Prayers for Teenagers, More Prayers for Teenagers and Being Confined, all published by HarperCollins. Tim Sudworth is the present Diocesan Youth Advisor for Guildford.
