Preeti Raghunath is an Assistant Professor at the Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication (SIMC), Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune, India. Her research work and praxis are located at the intersections of global media policies, transitional societies, human security and deliberative democracy in South Asia. She works with critical theories and their potential for emancipatory politics, and specializes in policy ethnography as a methodology in the study of media policies and policymaking.
