Scott Webster has twelve years teaching experience in high schools and sixteen years experience teaching and researching in universities. While a high school teacher he was nominated for a national award for teaching excellence by ASG National Excellence in Teaching Awards (ASG NEiTA). His research specialises in philosophy of education and curriculum theory. Ann Ryan has worked as a teacher and senior administrator in the secondary education sector in both Australia and overseas. As a senior curriculum manager she was responsible for national curriculum design and development in Papua New Guinea. She has published a series of environmental studies text books and a series of general science text books. Her research interests focus on curriculum and pedagogy with an interest in science education.
