Dr. Caroline Chemosit is a lecturer and Head of Educational Administration Planning and Management and Psychology and Foundations (EAPM & PF) department at the University of Kabianga (UoK), Kericho City, Kenya. She is a member of the Board of Graduate Studies and serves as a Team leader for a committee responsible for developing short courses at UoK. Caroline received her PhD in Higher Education Administration from Illinois State University, Normal City, USA. Her bachelor of education degree was from Kenyatta University, Kenya. Dr. Chemosit is a recipient of a grant from the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (CADFP). She has authored or co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters and presented papers in local, regional, and national/international professional educational and research conferences. Her research interests include college student learning, mentoring, professional development, multicultural awareness, academic leadership, and school culture. John Kipngeno Rugutt is an Associate Professor of educational research, applied statistics and educational technology in the Department of Educational Administration and Foundations at Illinois State University, Normal City, USA. His research projects focuses on using multilevel techniques to understand how individual and institutional factors affect learning. Dr. Rugutt’s engagement in scholarly activities has enabled him to publish and co-author several articles in refereed journals including the Journal of Personnel Evaluation in Education, Planning and Changing, Educational Research Quarterly, and the Journal of Educational Research. He has authored and co-authored several book chapters and presented papers at various annual meetings of regional, national and international professional organizations. Additionally, he has written research monographs, research grants, and project reports on many high impact educational and research topics. Dr. Rugutt is a two-time recipient of the International Institute of Education Fellowship under the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (CADFP). Joseph Kipronoh Rugutt is currently an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Chemistry at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP), USA. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Moi University (Kenya) in 1989 and a PhD in Organic/Analytical Chemistry from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 1996. From 1996 to 1999, he was a postdoctoral fellow at LSU with Professor Isiah Warner, one of the world’s leading scientists. Dr. Rugutt has received numerous honors, awards, and grants including the Massachusetts Commonwealth Information Technology Initiative Grant, the Rockefeller Fellowship, the Advanced Chemical Development Award, National Science Foundation (NSF) grants, the 2010 Innovation in Teaching and Learning Faculty Award at Columbus State University (Georgia), and the 2013 MSU-WP’s Dean's Merit Faculty Award for excellence in professional development activities. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been participating in NSF’s virtual and on-site proposal review panel sessions.
