Craig Batty is Associate Professor of Screenwriting at RMIT University, Australia. He is author, co-author and editor of numerous books, including Media Writing: A Practical Introduction (2nd ed., 2016), Screenwriters and Screenwriting: Putting Practice into Context (2014), The Creative Screenwriter: Exercises to Expand Your Craft (2012) and Movies That Move Us: Screenwriting and the Power of the Protagonist’s Journey (2011).Susan Kerrigan is a Screen Production scholar at the University of Newcastle, Australia, who specialises in creative practice research methodologies. She is a co-investigator on the Filmmaking Research Network grant, funded by the UK’s Arts and Humanities Research Council, and has held Australian Research Council Grants investigating the creative industries. Susan has produced and directed Australian television programs, including Play School.
