Julia Merrill, is a research associate at the Institute of Music at the University of Kassel and at the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics in Frankfurt/Main. Her research focus is on music and speech cognition and emotion as well as the acceptance of vocal sounds in song and speech.
