Provides a practical approach to the assessment of patients with disorders of cognative function - such as memory and language impairment. Beginning with theoretical background of cognitive testing and an overview of cognitive functions, divided into those with a distributed or localized neural basis. There is a description of common neuropsychological syndromes including delirium, dementia, amnesia, aphasia, agnosia, and neglect.
