The book, which has been developed by ASEP, America's sport education programme, gives coaches advice on their major responsibilites, how to become an effective coach, how to communicate with young athletes, how to plan and teach sports skills sequentially; how to prevent and care for injuries; and how to protect themselves from legal liability.
