This work presents an analysis of the center-left, "new" politics of Tony Blair and the New Labour's "third way" policies. In a speech to the French Assembly in 1998, Tony Blair posed two questions to the globalizing political orders: How do we equip ourselves for economic change? How do we impose some order in the face of social change? His resounding reply is that the next century of world politics become an age of radicals and reforms, smart populism and security. But the 21st century will also judge whether the new politics of Tony Blair modernized, or, as opponents claim, ruined the British political system.
