A collection of essays that look in detail at some of the principal genres, cycles and trends in Hollywood's output during the last two decades pf the 20th century. Steve Neale is a world-renowned authority on film genre and is Professor of Film Studies Sheffield Hallam University and is the author of Genre and Hollywood (Routledge, 2000) and co-editor of Contemporary Hollywood Cinema (Routledge, 1998).
