This pack offers tutors a time-saving means of helping candidates claim their competences and gain their qualification. It provides the complete package to assess candidates for Business Administration Level I through the accumulation of direct and indirect evidence based on APL, work-based assessment and assignments. This practical NVQ pack provides students with material on how to claim their units and simplifies the claiming process. Written in two parts, it first offers guidance notes for assessing competence, unit requirements, questionnaires to assess candidates' past and current experiences, and factsheets to test candidates' knowledge. It then offers work study assignments and tutor support material, all of which can be photocopied. The pack acts as a companion to the "Business Administration Handbook and Diary" by the same author, which provides the supporting knowledge for candidates to carry out the practical work in this text. The material can be used as an open learning package when supported by this handbook. This work is suitable for NVQ Level I courses undertaken in shools, FE, training establishments or the workplace.
It should be particularly useful to mature candidates on ET and refresher courses.
